طربیہ کامیڈی (Comedy) کے معنی میں یہ لفظ عربی میں نہیں ہے، اردو والوں کا بنایا ہوا ہے۔ بعض لوگ اسے عربی سمجھ کر اصرار کرتے ہیں کہ اس میں یائے تحتانی مشدد ہے اور اسے بروزن مفاعیلن برتنا چاہئے۔ لیکن یہ سراسر بھول ہے۔ بے شک یہ لفظ عربی’’طرب‘‘ سے بنایا گیا ہے، لیکن یہ مہند بالعربی ہے، صحیح معنی میں یہ عربی نہیں، لہٰذا اس پرعربی قاعدے جاری کرنا بے معنی ہے۔ دوسری بات یہ کہ اگر یہ لفظ عربی میں بمعنی Comedy ہوتا بھی، تو اردو میں دخیل ہوجانے کے بعد اسے اردو قرار دیا جانا چاہئے ۔ لفظ جس زبان میں داخل ہوتا ہے، اس کا پابند ہوجاتا ہے۔ غیر زبان میں داخل ہونے کے بعد اس پر اس زبان کے قاعدے نافذ نہیں ہوسکتے جہاں سے وہ آیا ہے۔ دیکھئے، ’’المیہ‘‘۔
