- (शाब्दिक) पवित्र कुरान, (लाक्षणिक) ब्रह्मांड के प्रसिद्ध गुणों का संग्रह, जिसकी संरचना और अस्तित्व में दिव्य ज्ञान के हजारों संकेत हैं। (हज़रत अली करम अल्लाह वजहु के दिेए गए निम्न पंक्ति से उदधृत: व अन्तलकिताबु-उ-लमुबीनल्लज़ी, या हर्फ़ा यज़हर-उ-लमुज़मिर = ऐ मनुषय! तू वही वो 'अल-किताब-उ-लमुबीन' है जिस के एक एक अक्षर से ईश्वर के दिव्य रहस्य प्रकट होते हैं
