مثال • ۔۔۔۔۔ آٹھویں ذی الحجہ یوم الترویہ روز پنجشنبہ سوار ہوئے اور منیٰ میں تشریف لائے • آٹھویں تاریخ کی شب میں حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے خواب میں دیکھا کہ کوئی کہنے والا کہتا ہے کہ خدا تعالیٰ تجھ کو حکم کرتا ہے کہ تیرے اس بیٹے کے ذبح کرنے کا ۔۔۔۔۔ اسی وجہ سے آٹھویں تاریخ کو یوم الترویہ کہتے ہیں ۔ (۱۹۰۶ ، حیوٰۃ الحیوان ، ۲ : ۳۰۳) ۔
