۲. حدیث کی چھ یا ساتھ کتابوں میں سے ہر ایک جیسے صحیح بخاری، صحیح مسلم.
۲. درست، ٹھیک، سچ، قاعدے اور ضابطے کے مطابق، راست، بجا.
۳. تندرست، چنگا، اچھا، صحت مند.
۴. (ریاضی) سالم (عدد)، وہ عدد جس میں کسر نہ ہو.
۵.(عروض) شعر کے عروض و ضرب جو باوجود جواز کے علّت و نقصان سے پاک اور سالم ہوں.
۶. (اصول حدیث) وہ روایت یا حیدث جسے دیندار اور پرہیزگار لوگوں نے ہر زمانہ میں برابر روایت کیا ہو.
