- बारह राशियों में से दसवीं राशि जिसमें उत्तराषाढ़ नक्षत्र के अन्तिम तीन पाद, पूरा श्रवण नक्षत्र और धनिष्ठा के आरम्भ के दो पाद हैं। उसकी आकृति मकर (जंतु) के समान मानी गई है।
