خلقت بمعنی ’’بنی آدم، مخلوق، ہجوم، عوام‘‘، یہ لفظ دہلی میں اول مفتوح سے بولا جاتاہے۔ ’’آصفیہ‘‘ اور شان الحق حقی نے اور کوئی تلفظ درج ہی نہیں کیا ہے۔ پلیٹس نے صرف اول مکسور لکھا ہے، جو اس لفظ کا رائج تلفظ ہے (دہلی کے باہر)۔ ’’نور‘‘ نے ’’مخلوق‘‘ کے معنی میں بفتح اول لکھا ہے، اور’’دنیا، آفرینش، بنی آدم‘‘ کے معنی میں اول مکسور لکھا ہے۔ یہ باریک فرق کتابی زیادہ ہے، حقیقی کم۔ دہلی کے باہر ہر جگہ یہ لفظ اول مکسور سے سنا گیا ہے۔ اول مفتوح کے تلفظ کو دہلی کا علاقائی تلفظ کہنا چاہئے۔
