ناراضگی بعض لوگوں کے خیال میں عربی لفظ ’’ناراض‘‘ پر فارسی علامت فاعلی’’گی‘‘ لگانا ٹھیک نہیں۔ صحیح لفظ ’’ناراضی‘‘ ہے۔ لیکن اس حساب سے تو’’ناراض‘‘ خود غلط ہے، کہ’’نا‘‘ فارسی میں علامت نفی ہے، عربی میں نہیں۔ پھرعربی’’راض‘‘ پر فارسی ’’نا‘‘ کہاں سے آئی؟ اس پر مزید یہ کہ عربی کے لحاظ سے’’راض‘‘ کوئی لفظ نہیں۔ یا ’’راضٍ‘‘ ہوگا، یا ’’راضی‘‘ ہوگا۔ جب یہ معاملہ ہے تو پھر’’ناراض‘‘ اتنا ہی ’’غلط‘‘ ہے جتنا ’’ناراضگی‘‘ ہے۔ غیر زبان کے قاعدے اپنی زبان پر منطبق کرنے کا یہی انجام ہوتا ہے۔ بنیادی بات یہ ہے کہ کوئی لفظ یا استعمال کسی غیر زبان میں غلط ہو تو اس کا مطلب یہ نہیں کہ وہ اردو میں بھی غلط ٹھہرایا جائے۔غلط سلط یا غیر ضروری الفاظ اوراستعمالات جو لاعلم یا لا پروا لوگ زبان میں ٹھونستے رہتے ہیں۔ ان کی مخالفت جم کر ہونی چاہئے۔ لیکن یہ بات بھی اپنی جگہ پر مستحکم ہے کہ جو لفظ یا استعمال زبان میں رائج ہو گیا، وہ رس بس کر ہمارا اور ہم جیسا بن گیا ہے۔ اس کو’’غلط‘‘ کہہ کر ذلیل نہ کیا جائے۔ ’’ناراضگی‘‘ اردو میں رائج ہوگیا ہے۔ اس لئے بالکل صحیح ہے۔ وحید قریشی کا کہنا ہے کہ ’’ناراض‘‘ کا آخری حرف ہائے مختفی بھی نہیں کہ ہائے ہوز کو قطع کرکے اور گاف و یائے تحتانی بڑھا کر اس کا اسم فاعل بنایا جائے۔ وہ پوچھتے ہیں، کیا ’’درستگی‘‘ بھی صحیح مانا جائے گا؟ لیکن یہ تو ہم پہلے ہی کہہ چکے ہیں کہ قواعد اور لغت دونوں اعتبار سے ’’ناراضگی‘‘ غلط ہے۔ لیکن رواج عام کو ہرچیز پر تفوق ہے۔ ’’ناراضگی‘‘ بہرحال رائج ہوگیا ہے۔ ’’درستگی‘‘ بعض لوگ لکھتے ضرور ہیں، لیکن وہ ابھی رائج نہیں ہوا، لہٰذا غلط ہے۔
