دوغلا بعض لوگ ’’دوہرا/دہرا‘‘، ’’دورنگا‘‘ وغیرہ کی جگہ ’’دوغلا‘‘ لکھنے لگے ہیں۔ اس غلط استعمال سے لفظ '’دوغلا‘‘ کے اصل معنی بیان کرنے کے لئے ہمارے پاس کوئی لفظ نہ رہ جائے گا۔ غلط: بی۔ جے۔ پی۔ کے دوغلے معیار پر تنقید کی گئی۔ صحیح: ۔۔۔دوہرے۔۔۔ غلط: سیاسی جماعتیں دوغلے بیانات دینے کے لئے بدنام ہیں۔ صحیح: ۔۔۔ دوہرے/دو رنگے۔۔۔ غلط: کہنا کچھ اور کرنا کچھ، یہ دوغلاپن ٹھیک نہیں۔ صحیح: ۔۔۔ یہ دو رنگا پن۔۔۔ صحیح: دوغلی نسل کے کتے اکثر بہت ہوشیارنکلتے ہیں۔ صحیح: سفید اورسیاہ نسل کے ملاپ سے جو بچے پیدا ہوتے ہیں ان کے لئے انگریزی میں جتنے لفظ ہیں سب میں’’دوغلا‘‘ کا مفہوم ہے۔
