دنگا ہمارے یہاں یہ لفظ عام طور پر معمولی جھگڑے فساد، یا شرارت، کے لئے بولا جاتا ہے۔ تنہا اسے بہت کم بولتے ہیں، ورنہ یہ’’دنگا فساد‘‘ کی شکل میں مستعمل ہے۔ تنہا بولا جائے تو ہلکے مزاح کے رنگ میں بولتے ہیں۔ صاحب، دیکھوتم پھر دنگا کرتے ہو (غالب بنام مرزا تفتہ، مورخہ غالباً۴۵۸۱)۔ ظفر اقبال ؎ روکو گے توہم کریں گے دنگا بن جائے گا بات کا بتنگا عام لڑائی یا نقض امن کے معنی میں اردو میں’’بلوہ‘‘، ’’ فساد‘‘ دولفظ مستعمل ہیں۔ روز کی بول چال میں اکٹھا بھی بول دیئے جاتے ہیں، ’’بلوہ فساد‘‘۔ بلوہ کرنے والے /والوں کو’’بلوائی‘‘ اور فساد کرنے والے/والوں کو’’فسادی‘‘ کہتے ہیں۔ ہندی والوں کو شاید کسی بنا پر’’بلوائی/فسادی‘‘ پسند نہیں، اس لئے انھوں نے’’دنگائی‘‘ بنا لیا ہے۔ واضح رہے کہ یہ بد صورت لفظ اردو میں نہیں ہے۔ بعض لوگ اسے اردومیں لانا چاہتے ہیں لیکن یہ سراسر زیادتی ہے کہ دو نہایت اچھے لفظوں کو چھوڑ کر ایک نہایت بھونڈا لفظ اختراع کیا جائے۔ اردو میں’’دنگئی‘‘ ضرور ہے، لیکن اب یہ بہت کم سننے میں آتا ہے، اور عام طور پر’’شرارتی، جھگڑالو‘‘ شخص کے لئے صیغۂ واحد میں بولا جاتا ہے، ’’بلوائی‘‘، یا ’’فسادی‘‘ کے معنی میں نہیں۔
