- काठ के खिलौनों का समूह जिसमें चट्ट, झुनझुने, गोले आदि रहते हैं। मुहा०-चट्टे-बट्ट लड़ाना = इधर की बातें उधर कहकर लोगों को आपस में लड़ाना या उनमें वैर-विरोध उत्पन्न कराना।
- वे गोले जिन्हें बाजीगर झोले में से निकालकर लोगों को दिखाते हैं। पद-एक ही थैले के चट्टे-बट्टे = एक ही गुट के मनुष्य। एक ही तरह या स्वभाव के लोग।
