بالائی آمدنی ایسی آمدنی جو وجہ مقررییا تنخواہ کے اوپر ہو، اسے ’’بالائی آمدنی ‘‘ کہتے ہیں ۔ اس فقرے کو ہمیشہ برے معنی میں استعمال کرتے ہیں اور عموماً اس سے رشوت کی آمدنی،یا نا جائز آمدنی مراد لیتے ہیں۔ ملحوظ رہے کہ ’’خرچ بالائی‘‘ کے یہ معنی نہیں ہیں، اگرچہ ’’خرچ بالائی‘‘ میں لفظ ’’خرچ‘‘ کے معنی ’’زر، روپیہ پیسہ‘‘ ہی ہیں۔ دیکھئے، ’’خرچ بالائی‘‘۔
