The four sources of Islamic jurisprudence on which the issues of the sub-sect are based, namely

سُبحاَنَاللہِ وَالحَمدُِللہ وَلاَ الہٰ الاَّاللہُ واللہُ اکبر مذکورہ چار مخصوص فقروں میں خدا کا ذکر کرنے کہ کہتے ہیں .

اہلِ سنّت کے چار بڑے فقہا یعنی امام ابو حنیفہ ، امام مالک ، اما شافعی اور امام احمد حنبل.

(اصول فقہ) چار حجتیں یا دلیلیں جن سے شرعی مسائل استنباط کیے جاتے ہیں : کتاب ، سنت ، اجماع اور قیاس (اہل سنت) ، یا عقل (جعفری).

وہ چار اجزائے ترکیبی جن سے اجسام بنے ہیں یعنی پانی، آگ، ہوا اور مٹی

فقہ کے چار امام یا مجتہد (جن کے نام یہ ہیں : امام اعظم حضرت ابوحنیفہ ، امام مالک ، امام احمد بن حنبل ، امام شافعی) .
